Film is a medium that can create dreamscapes in a way that unfolds across time, around time, outside of time. There is a magic in layering fields with differing opacities, mirroring for me the way memory works in life. Hazy recollections interspersed with sharp details, all suffused with a greater memory of collective consciousness, myth and archetype.
